RSVP Non-Restricted Canadian Firearm Safety Course (CFSC) in Winnipeg, MB
Take a Canadian Firearm Safety Course (CFSC) to start the process of applying for your Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) to handle and own firearms (guns) legally in Canada.
This course is provided by the RCMP and administered by our trained, and certified Firearm Safety Instructors. You will learn how to handle, store, display, and transport firearms safely, how to comply with federal firearms laws, and how to apply for your PAL should you wish to do so.
Upon completion of the course, students will be eligible to either take the Restricted CFSC or apply for their Non-Restricted license. We will provide all documents and information needed.

- Date: Saturday, May 23, 2026
- Location: West Kildonan Legion, in Winnipeg, MB, second floor, Darlington Lounge (street parking only)
- Starts at 9am, doors open at 8:45am
- Takes 8 hours (bring a lunch)
- SIGN UP is FREE
- Costs $180 ($171.43 + tax)
- Pay on arrival; cash, credit, debit, or e-transfer accepted on the day
- Government-issued photo ID is required (or two pieces of non-photo government-issued ID)
- Students must be over 12 years of age. Students between 12-17 are eligible to apply for a Minor’s License, which allows them to handle a firearm on their own with parent/guardian and RCMP conditions applied.
